Lights Installed at Heron Park Outdoor Pool
I am delighted to announce that the new lights have been successfully installed and are now fully functional! As many of you know, I have been a strong advocate for enhancing our community amenities to better serve our residents and my advocacy for improved enjoyment of the pool was well-received and supported during October 2023 Council meeting. I have been closely overseeing their implantation following the approval of the 2024 Budget. This significant improvement will support safe late-night swimming and provide more opportunities for everyone to enjoy this wonderful facility and summer! Please note, the new pool lights will not come on unless the push button is activated.

Resident request for Traffic Calming/Speed Humps
Transportation Services is currently investigating a resident request for traffic calming/speed humps on Waldock Street and on Falaise Road to address the safety concerns with speeding along this street.

Update on Pedestrian Crosswalk on Coronation Drive
Transportation Services has begun installing pedestrian crosswalk on Coronation Drive at the path to Eastview Park. The project is anticipated to be complete before school starts.
