It has been a pleasure to serve my community over the last four years.  Together we have accomplished a long list of items which have improved Ward 43.  Some of them include:

 Guild Alive with Culture an Arts Festival, Chair since 2007

Newly renovated Cedarbrae Library  - 2010 Completion Date

Promoting new business (Canadian companies like Giant Tiger)

Community Bus, to help our residents travel within the community

Thriving Cedar Ridge Creative Centre Exterior renovation complete

Morningside Park new infrastructure funds to improve the trail systems

Newly formed Cornell Community Board

Cornell Park improvements

Community clean ups have been held all across the Ward

Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough’s expansion

Dismantled the rusted water tower in 2007 and replaced it with a community garden

Culture Precinct on Guild Inn property - newly secured $4.2 million over 3 years

Secured funding Child Care in Ward 43 as well as for the construction of the Native Child day care centre at Kingston Road and Galloway Road. 

Centennial College’s commitment to renovate the Bickford Residence (Guild Inn)

Participated in the planning of Morningside Crossing

Splash pad in East View Park

New development at Kingston Road and Galloway of the old Motel demolished

Continuing to plan for the Kingston Road revitalization

New splash pad and playground structure in Morningside Park. 

Installed raised planters at Livingston Road and Guildwood Parkway

Lead in negotiating with the Province against the proposed wind turbines in Lake Ontario

Worked closely with the TRCA for the implementation of the multi use path

Working with the community to improve the quality of life within the Mornelle Court Community

finalized the path from Cindy Nicholas Drive to Morningside Avenue

Added signalized intersection lights on Morningside Avenue at Tams Road

New playground at Bonspiel Parkette

Improved the left turn signals at Morningside and Military Trail.

Thousands of trees and plants placed in Morningside Park on an annual basis

Partnerships with Centennial College and University of Toronto for Kingston Galloway Orton Park Community & Mornelle Community

Throughout Ward 43 Forestry has worked closely with me to plant 1000’s of trees in all   the communities from Seven Oaks, Curran Hall, Cedar Ridge, Cornell, Coronation of West Hill & Guildwood Village.
